US National security adviser (NSA) John Bolton here on Tuesday said that President Donald Trump will have a trilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the G20 summit in Argentina.

In a press briefing at the White House, Bolton said that Trump's bilateral with Abe "will transform at some point during that meeting into a trilateral meeting" with Prime Minister Modi.

The two-day 13th G20 summit will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 30 and December 1.

Bolton further asserted that President Trump will not meet Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as Trump's "bilateral schedule is full".

"President Trump's bilateral schedule is full to overflowing at this point," Bolton said in a press briefing, reported Xinhua.

However, he did not exclude the possibility of the two leaders' informal meeting.

Trump will be holding over half a dozen bilateral meetings on the sidelines of this week's Group of 20 summit in Argentina, the White House said.
