In the US state of California, a four-year-old boy accidentally shot his two-year-old cousin by a gun at home.

One of the neighbours said, "When they brought her out, she had a little patch right here over her chest. It didn't look like a big hole. They were pumping her as they put her in the ambulance." But, she passed away three-hour after being hospitalised.

Police have arrested the 53-year-old grandfather of the victim for child endangerment.

The investigation has proved that the grandfather Cesar Lopez had left the gun in a location easily accessible by the kids. The grandfather Lopez has been arrested and booked under child endangerment and possession of a firearm.

This incident has badly affected the neighbours, they are left devastated. They requested everyone who possesses a gun should lock them up, away from kids access. In the year 2018, some 7,971 people died in the US due to gun violence.
