From reception to honeymoon: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding itinerary revealed

The first song they will dance to as Husband and Wife

According to The Sun, the latest reports say that the couple have chosen Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) as the song to dance to for the first time as husband and wife.

Although it has been reported that legendary singer ELTON JOHN will be a guest at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal wedding. However, the pair will be dancing to another pop icon’s hit which is Whitney Houston’s ’80s hit I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).

It was also reported that ELTON JOHN may perform at the reception and has cancelled two concerts to be held in Las Vegas to attend the royal event.

St George’s Chapel in Windsor will host 600 people, along with famous pals Serena Williams, Millie Mackintosh and the Beckhams.

Traditionally, royal grooms don’t follow this rule to have a best man, but Harry has chosen William for the special role, which makes him the the kind of guy who puts relations ahead of everything.

Maid of Honour

According to the multiple media reports, there is no maid of honour, however, if she does pick one, it could well be author Lindsay Roth, her best friend from university and most loyal confidante.

The Cake

The wedding confection will be infused with lemon and elderflower and decorated with buttercream and fresh flowers.

The pastry chef creating the masterpiece is Claire Ptak, owner of London bakery Violet.

 

The flowers

The flower arrangements for the Royal wedding will be done by a London-based floral designer Philippa Craddock.

The flower arrangements in the wedding in St. George's Chapel will include Meghan's favourite bloom white garden roses foxgloves and peonies. Philippa is also planning to source some local branches of beech, birch, and hornbeam into her designs which will make it spectacular.

The rings

Harry revealed the engagement ring designed for Meghan was “yellow gold because that’s her favourite”.

The honeymoon

The couple has postponed their honeymoon. However, we know for sure is that Harry and Meghan love Africa and they probably are planning to go there. 

Since they enjoyed their third date and first holiday in Botswana, and also Meghan’s engagement ring features a diamond from the country.
