Former president of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe 'rushed' to Singapore for medical aid

Former president of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe, who was ousted from power last year was urgently taken out of the country two weeks ago because his health deteriorated all of a sudden.

A source confirmed that Mugabe was flown to Singapore for medical aid. Source also said, "Mugabe slipped out of the country two weeks ago after his blood pressure suddenly rose to dangerous levels. He also had trouble with his eye which previously has been diagnosed with a cataract."

Recently, Mugabe had made several trips to Singapore for unknown medical attention. He was spotted last year December in Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore along with eight other people. He has ruled over the African country for 37 years.

The former leader hasn't appeared in public ever since his press meet where he claimed that he was ousted by a coup.
