Anti-terrorism court acquits PTI chief Imran Khan in SP Asmatullah attack case

The Politician-turn-cricketer Imran Khan acquitted from SSP Asmatullah Junejo attack case under anti-terrorism court. Junejo was beaten black and blue by protesters in 2014.

Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chairperson Imran Khan appeared in court today. Judge Shahrukh Arjumand ruled in his favour. After the historic judgment, Imran said, "thank you very much,"

He also added that he was happy with the decision and said that he won't let the anti-terrorism laws be misused when he comes to power. He asserted, "Such democratic governments are worse than military dictatorships,"

He even targeted former PM Nawaz Sharif,"needs psychiatric help as he is mentally unstable. He also added, "Nawaz should get a checkup from a physiatrist after the statements he has been making. He is actually carrying out our election campaign when he says that voting for PTI is the same as voting for the Pakistan Army of the country’s judiciary. People are very happy with these institutions.”
