UP: Woman kills her 5-year-old son using spade at Kanauja Kala village

In an appalling happening, a women murdered her 5-year-old son using a spade on Thursday at Uttar Pradesh’s Kanauja Kaka village which comes under the jurisdiction of Phulpur police station of trans-Ganga area in Prayagraj.

The women was going to throw the corpse of the kid in the well when she was noticed by her relative. The accused is reported to have been suffering from mental issue and has been arrested by the police.

As maintained by reports, the accused was married to an auto driver and had three childrens with him. She was presently living with her parents at Kanauja village. On Tuesday, she murdered her five-year-old son with a spade and was going to throw the body in a nearby well when her cousin saw her.

Other members of the family rushed to the spot when the cousin raised an alarm and caught the woman. The boy was pronounced dead by the doctors at a nearby hospital.

SP, trans-Ganga, NK Singh stated that primary questioning suggests that she was suffering from mental illness. An FIR has been filed in this connection and the child’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
