Shocker: Jilted lover throws girl off roof top

In what was a shocking incident brought to the open from Lucknow’s Gudamba, Infuriated over being turned down by girl, a man barged into her house, threw her from the rooftop and attacked her maternal uncle.

The victim girl, who is in her 20s, suffered deadly injuries and was admitted to a private hospital with the help of neigbours who came to help after hearing the noise. Currently, the girl is out of danger.

The accused who perpetrated the horrific crime has been identified as Shiva, aka Dhruv, and the police is still trying to trace and arrest him.

The accused (Shiva) had allegedly gone to the girl's residence to express his love for her but when she refused to speak to him, he lost his patience and picked up a fight with her. The victim had recently told her family that the man was harassing her.

“On Thursday, furious Shiva entered our house and thrashed me for objecting to his moves,” said her maternal uncle, as maintained by a report in the Times of India.

“Shiva physically assaulted my niece and pushed her down from the terrace. She sustained a grievous injuries on her head and was admitted to a hospital. I also suffered injuries in my head," the victim’s uncle said.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of police, North Zone, Prachi Singh stated that, "We have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.”

Furthermore, she said that an FIR under the charges of sexual harassment, attempt to commit culpable homicide and rioting has been pressed against the culprit.
