Rajasthan: 28-year-old woman arrested for killing her husband after he raped her minor sister in Sikar
A 28-year-old women was taken into custody for murdering her husband after he raped her minor sister in Sikar in Rajasthan, police stated on Thursday. The murder happened on the intervening night of 1st and 2nd June.
In her statement, the women said that she was pragnant and so she brought her sister who was just 15-year-old along with her so that she could lend a helping hand after delivery. However, the women was quite aggrieved when her husband raped her sisiter and in a fit of rage, she hit him with an axe that resulted in his death.
She will be produced before a local court on Thursday, SHO Dhod police station Amit Kumar Nagora told news agency IANS.
The accused kin has also been handed over to her family members after completion of her medical examination, SHO added.
