Be it the case of last year where the topper was from the blacklisted school or the 2016 case where desperate relatives clanged to the school building to help their children, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has always been a pain in the neck. And a similar incident was repeated yet this year, 1,000 students were dismissed for cheating.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) of Secondary exams which commenced on February 6, 2018, is under speculations for the dismissal of nearly 1,000 students allegedly for cheating.

According to the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Anand Kishore, “A lot of students were expelled today for adopting affair practice during the exam which concluded yesterday.”

He also added that some 25 fake examiners were also caught and a report has been filed against the parents who were helping their children to cheat in the exams.

This isn't a new case in Bihar, remember the pictures that emerged last year where desperate relatives, friends of students were seen climbing school walls to pass on answers to their acquainted sitting inside.

In Bihar, cheating is a mafia in which teachers connive with parents and school authorities and bribe the answer sheets.

In the year 2016 more than half of the 1.4 million students who took the Higher Secondary Exams in Bihar Board Examinations failed. Even Bihar minister admitted that year result was the actual merit of students.
