Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra on Wednesday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, "Can I walk or is that too banned". The comedian's response came after the SpiceJet announced a ban on him from flying by airline.

Responding to a SpiceJet's tweet, Kamra wrote: "Modiji can I walk yaan uspe bhi baan hai... (Can I walk or is that too banned..)."

He also urged the Vistara airline to ban him. " Ban me. I won’t judge you, I have decided to go to Goa on motorcycle and will take a break (Main drive karke goa nikal ne ka plan bana hi raha hoon... thoda break bhi lena Banta hai).

On Wednesday, SpiceJet banned the stand-up comedian from flying after he allegedly heckled a journalist aboard a Mumbai-Lucknow plane of the private airline. Earlier, IndiGo and Air India have banned him.

In a statement, SpiceJet has said: "SpiceJet has decided to suspend Mr Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice."

The airlines have put bans on the Comedian after he heckled the journalist inside an IndiGo flight.

While IndiGo suspended Kamra from flying with it for a period of six months, Air India banned him until further notice.

Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri took notice of the incident and ‘advised’ other airlines in India to impose similar restrictions on Kamra, stating "offensive behaviour designed to provoke & create disturbance inside an aircraft is absolutely unacceptable & endangers the safety of air travellers”. Following the minister's remarks, Vistara said it will “review and follow due process in such cases”.

According to reports, Kamra allegedly heckled the journalist on IndiGo’s Mumbai-Lucknow (6E5317) flight on Tuesday.
