Bengaluru: Woman home guard alleges sexual harassment against two colleagues, case filed

In a horrific incident, a women home guard has accused her colleagues of sexually harassing her and asking sexual favour. The female home guard also alleged that her colleagues forced her to go along with them on a private trip.

The accused have been recognized as YK Nanjegowda (30) and Sathish T (28). In the complaint filed by the female home guard, Jayanagar police have regestered a case of sexual harassment against the two accused.


As stated by the victim, one of the accused Nanjegowda forced her to treat him as her husband. While the other accused Satish asked her to join in with Nanjegowda in order to get a better life.

The Women home guard was stationed at the university women’s hostel in Jayanagar.

"I was being harassed by the two accused since April 15. Later on May 10, the two asked me to lie to my husband that I had been assigned a special duty and then accompany them for a trip," the victim alleged.

A case has been lodged against the two accused after the woman approached her senior officers who asked her to file a police case.

"The accused Nanjegowda was arrested and later released on bail. We are probing the case," said the investigating officer.
