After Disha rape-murder case, another woman’s dead body found in spine-chilling condition in Hyderabad

They recovered her naked dead body under a culvert – her face had been smashed with boulders and her hands tied with rope, her jewellery were still on her body.

The gruesome discovery, made the Hyderabad outlying district of Chevalla suspicious of a case of rape and murder.

The incident has also brought back horrifying memories of what happened just a few months back to Disha, a 26-year-old vet, who was gangraped and murdered.

Disha’s dead body, too, was recovered under a culvert, her body had also been scorched. Four accused were soon killed in police action that won extensive praise, but gave way to a debate about the criminal justice system.

In Chevalla, police officials have started a probe and are cumulating forensic evidence. Police teams have also been put into position to gather CCTV footage.

DCP Shamshabad N Prakash Reddy stated that the victim was aged between 25-30 years.

It is suspected that she was killed elsewhere and her body was dumped under the culvert, he stated.

The state police are working to identify the victim, and her body has been sent for an autopsy.
