In pictures: Day 3 of IIC's Festival of the Arts

Day 3 of the India International Centre\'s A Festival of the Arts was all about celebrating Spanish cinema. Well, at least for the most part.

\'Celebrating Six Decade of Spanish Cinema: A Festival of films\' was the general theme of the day with films like The Grandfather (El abuelo) - 151 min, 1998, Wrinkles (Arrugas) - 89 min, 2011, Secrets of the Heart (Secretos del corazon) - 105 min, 1997 and Long Live the Bride and Groom (Vivan los novios) - 83 min, 1970, being showcased.

However, the evening saw a shift from Spanish cinema to western classical music. Arias, Opera and Musical Theatre, a performance put together by the Lyric Ensemble of Delhi had the audience call for an encore.

The Lyric Ensemble was formed in early 2016 by voice coach Situ Singh Buehler. Its music director Clayton Duggan hopes to better their act. "We\'re really young, just 6 months old," he told Catch.

Supported by artistic director Diniz Sanchez and Dinai Rentta on the piano, the group can perform a whole range, from jazz to opera, solo to choir. The Lyric Ensemble is looking forward to a one-act opera later this year.
