This is it! Expert reveals these foods can really cause cancer

Cancer! An uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells which can occur anywhere in humans, animals and other living organisms.

These abnormal cells are termed cancer cells, malignant cells, or tumour cells. These cells can infiltrate normal body tissues. Many cancers and the abnormal cells that compose the cancer tissue are further identified by the name of the tissue that the abnormal cells originated from (for example, breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer).

Now it has revealed that these foods can give you cancer.

The researchers from a famous magazine have revealed some of the facts to show once and for all which foods could contribute to this deadly disease, as per The Sun.

They have analysed and reviewed what some of the world’s biggest health organisations claim about the disease.

Here are some of the foods that can make you sick.

Careful non-vegetarians. If you love to eat meat than of this fact that at least it is fresh.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that eating the equivalent of around two rashers of bacon a day can increase your risk of bowel cancer to 18 per cent.

Processed meat was also shown to increase the chances of stomach cancers according to multiple studies, as it contains nitrates.


As such, there is no scientific evidence to support claims that sugar directly increases your risk of cancer. However, according to the medical science, eating too much sugar can cause obesity and risk of cancer.

While it’s not as much of a carcinogen as cigarettes, alcohol does cause of about 2.8 per cent of cancers in Australia.

WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer ranks alcohol as a “class 1 carcinogen”.


Artificial sweeteners and food additives are always tested by the European Food Safety Authority to check if there is any risk for human consumption.

So, far it has not been proved whether or not they add chemicals to the risk of cancer.

Canned Tomatoes

Almost all canned foods are made with chemicals like bisphenol-A or BPA. Even minuscule exposures to BPA increase the risk of breast cancer, prostate cancer, infertility, early puberty, metabolic disorders and type-2 diabetes, as per the Breast Cancer Fund.

However, it has been found that tomatoes are exceptionally dangerous because of their high acidity, which causes BPA.
