Krishna Janmashtami also is known as Gokulashtami is celebrated every year on Ashtami of Krishna paksha or the new moon phase of Bhadrapada. This year, people will observe the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna on 11th August, Tuesday. On this auspicious day, people observe fast and chant mantras and bhajans to seek the lord’s blessings.

Usually, devotees throng the temples to get the blessings of Lord Krishna on this, however, this time due to Coronavirus pandemic people cannot visit the temples on such auspicious occasion.
