NCERT Recruitment 2020: New vacancies released for teaching and non-teaching posts; check eligibility criteria

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has invited applications for the posts of teaching and non-teaching on its official website. Candidates who are looking for government teaching or non-teaching job can check more details about this recruitment drive given below.

The application form has been started on June 29 while the last date to apply for the positions is August 3, 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form via the official website at ncert.nic.in.

Education Qualification Required:

• Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor - Candidate must have post-graduation and the Ph.D. degree in the relevant field.
• Associate Professor - M.A. in Psychology with 55% marks, Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Educational Psychology
• Librarian - Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science is compulsory. Also, it is necessary to have at least 10 years of experience.
• Assistant Librarian - Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Doctorate Science with at least 55% marks. NET is also necessary for the related subject.
• Professor- M.A. in Psychology, Ph.D. in Psychology with Specialisation in Educational Psychology
• Assistant Professor - M.A. in Psychology with 55% marks, with specialization in Educational Psychology

Payscale:

Candidates who will qualify for the post will get the following pay scale.

• Professor - Academic level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/- (Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs.37, 400-67,000 with AGP-10,000).
• Librarian - Academic level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/- (Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000).
• Assistant Librarian - Academic level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs.57,700/- (Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs.15, 600-39,100 with AGP-6,000).
• Associate Professor - Academic level 13A with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/- (Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs.37, 400-67,000 with AGP-9,000).
• Assistant Professor - Academic level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs.57,700/- (Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs.15,600-39,100 with AGP-6,000).

• For General and OBC- Rs 1000
• For SC/ST, differently-abled candidates- No fee

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit list. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview.
