Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Here's what Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed about his last conversation with Dil Bechara actor

Yesterday, ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was summoned by Mumbai Police in connection to the case probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide. After around two hours of questioning, he came out from the Bandra police station. As we all know filmmaker approached Dil Bechara actor for a few films, however, due to some reasons they both couldn’t collaborate.

As per Mumbai Mirror, police questioned him regarding the films he offered and as to why they couldn’t collaborate. To which filmmaker revealed his conversation with Sushant wherein he approached him for Goliyon Ki Raas Leela-Ram Leela. Sanjay had nearly ropes in Sushant or the film however he had to drop him because the actor had a prior agreement with another production house.

An officer involved in the case was quoted saying, "The statement of Bhansali centred around his (Bhansali's) conversation with Rajput after the film/s fell through because of the earlier contractual conditions.” As per reports, Sushant was unhappy as the contract he had signed with another production house halts him from working with the ace filmmaker.

Meanwhile, police have so far questioned nearly 29 people related to the case including Rhea Chakraborty, Sandip Ssingh, Mahesh Shetty, Sanjana Sanghi, Mukesh Chhabra among others. After Sanjay the next in the list is Shekhar Kapoor for questioning, he was supposed to team up with the late actor for Paani, however, due to some unknown reasons, the film was shelved.
