Twenty minutes episode in a couple of parts is the popular culture taking over daily soaps steadily, says Jaipur-based actor Gazal Saini, who is seen in the on-going web series, 'Live In Lochaa', written and directed by Crime Petrol fame Vishwajeet Singh.
Saini, who started her career when she was 16-year-old in a local Rajasthani channel, grabbed an opportunity in television series 'Crime Petrol' followed by a Gujarati movie and now this twenty episodes triangle love series.

In an exclusive chat with Catch News, Saini shared, " I beleive that web series is the future and is something that youngsters love watching over daily soaps. As the time span of the series is less, it helps to holds on the attention unlike other shows." Besides, the reach of an online platform is much more compare to that of any other medium. What can be a better example than TVF’s Permanent Roommates, a five-part contemporary take on relationships, became the second most-watched web series on online platform.
Throwing light on the concept of the series in which she is the leading lady, she shared that her character is called Nisha. She falls in love with a guy named Rahul and starts living in with him for two years. However, the love filled relation turns ugly and they separate and stay apart for six-months. It was during this time that female protagnist, Nisha falls in love with the a guy named Ranjan and starts dating him. However, as it is said that the film has much more to unfold, similarly there's a twist which would be seen in upcoming parts.
Although the concept might sound too monotonous and heard before, it is the powerpack performances by the actors and realistic approach of the director that distinguishes it. In just a week of uploading the first and second episode , it has grabbed 50,000 likes, which speaks volume.
Sharing her experience working in a web series, she said, “ Unlike daily soap this is where the actor can give there best and perfect platform to showcase your potential. With limited crew and minimum disturbance, one can easily perform any scene without a second thought.” Shot in the rustic locales of Mumbai in Versoba and Naigaon, the series is majorly shot in an isolated appartment.
Gazal, who never had any formal training in acting feels that she has been lucky in getting projects and for her there has not been much struggle in Mumbai, projects are being offered. She believes, “ It is because of my parents support and directors believe in my acting skill that has given me streghth to stay in this city and explore my acting skills.”
