Political Crisis: ‘Join us...’ sidelined BJP Shatrughan Sinha gets invitation from RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav

The Bhartiya Janata Party’s shotgun alias Shatrughan Sinha, MP from Patna Sahib who has been critical for the party has received an invitation from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap. The RJD leader, who recently announced his comeback in active politics has invited Sinha to join his party.

This invite came a day after the BJP MP Sinha said he was ready to quit the BJP "at once" if his resignation is sought.

"I talk to Shatrughan Sinha from time to time. I have also been to his place in Mumbai. I am still inviting him (to join the Rashtriya Janata Dal). He can join us at our Janta Darbar," ANI quoted Tej Pratap as saying.

Notably, Tej Pratap Yadav had gone on break after he announced his divorce to his wife last year. After his comeback, he has been meeting and addressing party workers. Often, he also holds gatherings where he listens to the problems of the people.

On the other side, Sinha has been sharply attacking his party and its leaders. Last week he also attended an Opposition rally called by Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata in a move to oust BJP from power in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
