Meet TMC candidate Nusrat Jahan, the supermodel-actress whose political journey will be on watchout

On 23rd May, the results of General elections 2019 will come out and with that around 2 thousand candidates from the whole country will be on watch out. In one of them is West Bengal, TMC's candidate from Basirhat constituency, Nusrat Jahan, also known as the popular actress of Bengali cinema. The actress who got a ticket from TMC, since then she is just on the target of trolls.

Let us tell you that Nusrat Jahan won a beauty contest ticket in 2010 and started her modelling career. Nusrat made also Bengali cinema debut with the film 'Shotru'. Nusrat had worked in several films till now and she can also win the Basirhat seat. The actress is just 29 years old and it will be surely one of the big turning points of her career.

When the results are just a few hours back so the actress is once again come to trend. The interesting thing is that the actress's boyfriend Kadar Khan was accused of the gang-rape case. According to media reports, Kadar Khan was accused of a gangrape case at Park street. Several media reports suggested that Nusrat tried to save Kadar and she even didn't tell the police about the actual place of Kadar Khan.

However, the actress-turned-politician always has denied such kind of allegations. Even the actress has been trolled several times during the election campaigning for the incident. Nusrat Jahan and Kadar Khan have been a long relationship.
