Bollywood has given the blockbuster series at the box office and it is Yash Raj Films' Dhoom series. Since then Aamir Khan had worked in Dhoom 3 the reports were that Salman Khan or either Shah Rukh Khan may star in Dhoom 4. However, once Salman Khan clearly said no he will never be a part of Dhoom series.
Meanwhile, in between this the makers announced another collaboration of director Vijay Krishna Acharya and Aamir Khan, Thugs of Hindostan. This collaboration turned big when actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif joined the star cast. Now reports are that the makers have found the new villain for Dhoom 4 and he is Shah Rukh Khan.

Earlier there were the reports that after Zero, Shah Rukh Khan to work in Salute, biopic on Rakesh Sharma but there is no update on the project. So now reports are that SRK is quite serious for Dhoom 4 and that's why he is not looking for any film after Zero.
Makers are planning to announce the film Dhoom 4 after Thugs of Hindostan release and its response. If the film does well at the box office then the makers will go with Shah Rukh Khan and if not then they will think of the new leading cast of the franchise.
