Bollywood witnessed the release of another female-centric film with the release of Alia Bhatt starrer and Meghna Gulzar's directorial titled as 'Raazi.' The film got released yesterday on the silver screens and depicted Alia's character as a brave spy. Well, it's now the turn for the box-office numbers of the film which seem to be phenomenal.

The film Raazi is set in the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pakistani war in which Alia plays the character of a wife, a daughter and a spy named Sehmat. The film is based on true events and incidents and has been adopted from Harinder Sikka's novel namely 'Calling Sehmat.'

Talking about the box-office numbers of the film, the film seem to have a spectacular beginning right on its first day. As per the latest predictions given out by famous Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh, the movie has managed to earn as many as 7.53 crore just on the first day and the numbers are going to increase by the end of the week.

Taran took to his Twitter account to share the collection of the film and tweeted, “Power of SOLID CONTENT... #Raazi starts Day 1 with a BIG BANG... The EXCEPTIONAL word of mouth should result in a FANTASTIC opening weekend... Fri ₹ 7.53 cr. India biz.”

Talking about the film, the lead actress Alia Bhatt is being appreciated by everyone who has watched the film. It is clear that the actress has come a long way from her debut film Student Of The Year. When Alia was asked about her character in the film, she during an interview said, “I couldn’t believe that this actually happened with a 20-year old girl, who gave up her life and everything and became a spy for India in Pakistan. Also, I have closely followed Meghna’s work, and after Talvar, she went on top of the list of people I want to work with.” 

Not only Alia, the film also has Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Soni Razdan playing the pivotal roles.
