It seems as if there is a flood of celebrity weddings that have been going on. The industry was not over with the hangover of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding that the news of another wedding of Pink fame Angad Bedi and Roadies fame, Neha Dhupia started doing rounds. Well now, it doesn't seem to end here as another celebrity wedding is soon going to take place and here we are talking about Bollywood singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya, who is all set to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend namely Sonia Kapoor.
The report starting doing rounds on the internet when many news portal said that the news has been confirmed by a statement that has been issued by the team of the music composer that said that he is going to get married on May 11, 2018 ie tonight and will have a low-key ceremony that will take place at his house.
The wedding guests will be limited and will consist only the family of both Himesh and Sonia along with very few close friends. Not only this, Himesh's son Swaym will also be present at his father's wedding celebration and the further details of the same are awaited yet.
For those who are uninformed, this will be Himesh's second marriage after he parted ways with his wife Komal officially after 22 years of their marriage. Their divorce happened in June, last year. It was being said that the singer's closeness with Kapoor was the reason behind their split as he has been dating Sonia from the year 2006.
The rumors about their reason behind the split was cleared by Komal when she gave an official statement after their divorce and said that it was because of the compatibility issue in their marriage that led them to take this decission. Further in the statement she said, “Himesh and I completely respect each other and are jointly going with this decision to part ways legally but mutual respect will always be there for us as I am a part of his family and will always be, and the same is with him towards my family. There are compatibility issues in our marriage but we respect each other immensely.”

Referring to Sonia she said, “Nobody else should be dragged into this matter and nobody else is responsible for this and the reason for our marriage not working is only and only compatibility. Sonia is not responsible for this at all and our son Swaym and our family loves Sonia just like a family member.”
Talking about Sonia, with whom Himesh will get married to, she is a TV actresses who has done quite a number of shows such as Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Yes Boss, Remix and many others.
