Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Kumar's personal secretary, Praveen Singh, was detained by Delhi police on 5 September.
Singh has been accused of circulating the CD at the center of the controversy of sex scandal involving Kumar. According to reports, Singh was detained from the secretariat.
This comes after Kumar was arrested on 2 September on charges of rape after the womanwh was seen in the video with him filed a complaint. He was produced in a Delhi court on 4 September after which he was remanded in police custody for one day. He has been booked under section 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison with intent to commit an offence) of IPC, under section 67A of IT Act (punishment for publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act) and Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act (public servant taking gratification other than legal remuneration for an official act).
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sacked Kumar from the Delhi government on August 31.
