BJP MLA slammed for promising to abduct women, for men who seek his help; video goes viral

BJP MLA Ram Kadam has hit the controversy because of his controversial statement. A video of him also doing the round on social media in which he allegedly making a promise to the men that he will abduct women, for men who seek his help. Because of this, the MLA has been slammed by everyone.

The MLA, from Mumbai’s Ghatkopar constituency, said this remark at a dahi handi event on 3rd September night. His video went viral on Twitter.

Ram Kadam video has been shared by NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad on Twitter, in which he can be talking to men in the crowd. In the video, the MLA can be seen giving his telephone number to the men and also said that anyone can call him for help at any time.

He also said that if any men wanted to marry a girl and facing problems, then he would speak with the man’s parents. Kadam also told that he will kidnap the girl for them.

As this video went viral on social media, Kadam got criticism for his remarks. NCP MLA has also raised a questioned that how women of the country would be safe if the member of the ruling party talks about girl’s kidnapping.

Also, Preei Sharma Menon, a member of AAP’s national executive took a jibe at Maharashtra CM for giving ministers the ‘new job’.

He took to Twitter and wrote, 'Dear @Dev_Fadnavis
Congratulations on the new job you have given your MLAs of abducting girls.
Is it national policy for @BJP4India ?
MLA Ram Kadam offers to abduct girls for boys. He even offers hotline number for it. 👏👏'

 

However, Ram Kadam told PTI that his comment has been quoted out of context.
