Virat Kohli leaves fans in awe after pulling off acrobatic catch in RCB's practice session [watch]

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper and run machine Virat Kohli has been working very hard in nets in the lead up to IPL 2020, which starts on 19th September. The skipper has been away from the game since March and is working hard on every aspect of the game.

Since the RCB skipper was confined to his home for nearly five months, he couldn’t begin outdoor training. Although he kept his fitness standards intact by going to his personal gym at home. The 31-year-old has often impressed his fans with his acrobatic skills.

On Thursday, the fans were once again amazed with Virat Kohli when he pulled off a diving acrobatic catch during a practice session. The 31-year-old is one of the finest in the world when it comes to fielding. He was all pumped up during the practice session and grabbed headlines with his stunning catch.

Virat Kohli will be leading RCB for the eighth season in a row during IPL 2020. He was handed RCB’s full-time captaincy in 2013. Under him, RCB have played one final, in 2016, thus far. They are yet to qualify for the second round of the tournament since then. The owners would hope that the franchise ends its title-drought under the new coaching staff.

In the meantime, RCB's social media posts from their practice sessions indicate that they might hand the wicketkeeping gloves to AB de Villiers, which will see Parthiv Patel sitting out.

Kohli is most likely to open the innings along with Devdutt Padikkal, who is yet to make his IPL debut. The left-handed batsman impressed the team management in domestic cricket and Karnataka Premier League. Aaron Finch might have to bat in the middle-order if Padikkal is able to consolidate his place in the playing XI.

Furthermore, RCB will be without the services of Kane Richardson but their spin attack has been bolstered with Adam Zampa coming in.
