Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, B Unnikrishnan film starts rolling

The shooting of the new Mohanlal starrer starts rolling on Friday at Trivandrum. Directed by hit maker B Unnikrishnan, the film stars Manju Warrier in the female lead. The yet-to-be-titled-film also marks the first Malayalam outing of Rockline Venkatesh, the maker of the 2015 Salman Khan blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film also marks the debut of Tamil stars, Vishal, Hansika Motwani and Telugu actress Raashi Khanna as well.

B Unnikrishnan has already shot few sequences featuring Raashi Khanna on Friday. Aju Vargheese and Chemban Vinod Jose joined the sets today. Reportedly, Mohanlal will join the shoot on Sunday as the actor had undergone an Ayurvedic treatment at Palakad for the film. Lalettan portrays the role of an ex-cop in the film and Manju Warrier will be seen as his wife in the film. The film also marks the fifth collaboration of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier. Their previous outings, Aaram Thampuran, Kanmadham, Summer In Bethlahem and the 2015 release, Ennum Eppozhum were successful at the box office.

Apart from its stellar cast, the film was in news ever since the budget and the technicians names were announced. The film will made on a massive budget of Rs. 30 crore. The makers had already roped in a popular Poland studio to handle the VFX works of the film. Noted stunt choreographers Peter Hein and Stunt Silvia have been finalised as the stunt coordinators while Manoj Paramahamsa of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya fame cranks the camera for the film. The art direction will be handled by Gokul Das. The film also marks the second outing of Oppam composers, Jim Jacob, Biby, Eldhose and Justine of the music band, 4 Musics.
