Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: 2700 vacancies released for 12th pass; know how to apply

Indian Navy has released a job opportunity for 12th pass aspirants on its official website. Interested unmarried male aspirants can apply for the vacancies released by the Indian Navy for the post of Indian Navy AA and SSR.

The application for the post of Indian Navy AA and SSR can be submitted on the Indian Navy official website at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 08 November 2019.

The last date to apply for the post is 18 November 2019. The applications are invited for the post of Sailor for August 2020 Batch.

Indian Navy Sailors are the main workforce in the Indian Navy and a good career option for Secondary and Senior Secondary passed candidates.

There is a total of 2700 vacancies have been notified at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Out of the total vacancies, 2200 vacancies for India Navy SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and 500 are for Indian Navy AA (Artificer Apprentice).

Indian Navy Sailor 2019-20 Important Dates:

• Starting Date of Online Application: 08 November 2019
• Last Date of Online Application: 18 November 2019

Salary Structure:

During the initial training period, candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 14,600/-per month will be paid. On successful completion of initial training, candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700-69,100). Also, aspirants will be paid MSP Rs. 5200/-per month plus DA (as applicable) plus "X" Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} Rs. 6200/-per month plus DA.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Sailor Posts

• Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) - Candidates should be 12th passed with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India
• Artificer Apprentice (AA) - Aspirants should be 12th passed with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:-Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
