Income Tax Recruitment 2019: New vacancies released for Multi Tasking Staff and Tax Assistant; here’s how to apply

Income Tax Department has invited application forms for the post of Multi Tasking Staff and Tax Assistant on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply for the vacancies before the application window closed.

As per the notification, Income Tax released an official notification to fill a total of 20 vacancies for the post of MTS and Tax Assistant. Candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format on or before 2 September 2019.

• Multi-Tasking Staff – 18 Posts
• Tax Assistant – 2 Posts

Eligibility Criteria required for Income Tax Department:

Educational Qualification:

For Multi Tasking Staff: Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized Board/institute. Also, he/she should have a data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Tax Assistant: Applicant should have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized board.

Check pay scale for Income Tax Vacancy:

For Multi Tasking Staff: Selected candidates will get the salary under level 4(as per 7th CPC) (Corresponding to Grade pay of Rs 2400/- in PB-1 of Rs 5200/- to 20,200/- of 6th CPC.

For Tax Assistant: Candidates who will be selected for the post will get Level 1 salary as per 7th CPC (corresponding to Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- in PB-1 of Rs. 5200/-20200/- of 6th CPC.)

Age Limit required for MTS and Tax Assistant Posts

• For Multi Tasking Staff – Candidates should fall in the age bracket of 18 to 27 years
• For Tax Assistant – The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years
