Aadhaar Contest: Golden chance to win Rs 30,000; here’s how to participate in UIDAI’s online contest

Can you believe it that your Aadhaar card can help you in winning whopping prize money? The answer is Yes. UIDAI has organized a contest for Aadhaar card holders named ‘Your Aadhaar Online’ for Aadhaar card holders.

The contest was started on 18 June 2019.

To participate in the contest candidates need to be a resident of India. The competition window is open until July 8, 2019. 

Candidates who will be selected will be contacted via email by August 31, 2019.

Before applying for the contest, candidates should keep in mind that should be a citizen of India and non-Aadhaar holder are not eligible to participate.

A candidate who will win the contest will get a chance to win a cash prize upto Rs 30,000.

a.) Make a short graphical/ animation video tutorial on any of the topics given below:

• Download Aadhaar
• Update Address Online
• Aadhaar Update History
• Check Aadhaar generation/ update status
• Locate Aadhaar Kendra
• Request for Address Validation Letter
• Check online address update status
• Order Aadhaar Re-print
• Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID
• Virtual ID (VID) Generator
• Lock/Unlock Biometrics
• Aadhaar Authentication History
• Aadhaar Lock/Unlock
• Verify any Aadhaar online
• Verify Email/Mobile Number

b) the duration of the videos should be between 30 seconds to 120 seconds only.

c) Participants should explain the entire process of any of the services.

d) Video can be made either in the form of graphical representation or whiteboard animation or any other format.

e) Keep in mind the voice should be audible. Good voice quality will be preferred first.

f) Upload the video to YouTube OR Google Drive OR Online File Sharing (e.g. WeTransfer, SendSpace, DropBox, JumpShare, Hightail, etc.).

g) Send the video link to UIDAI by email to [email protected]. Video sent via any other medium will not be considered as a valid entry for the contest.

h) Candidates will have to send their entries along with their details like Aadhaar Number (participant’s), Name as on Aadhaar, Contact address and Mobile Number.

i) The format of the videos should be in MP4, AVI, FLV, WMV, MPEG or MOV format only. Videos within full HD or higher resolution (1920×1080 px) will be given preference.

• 2nd - Rs. 10,000
• 3rd - Rs. 5,000

Best 3 videos from all the entries:
