Shabana Azmi injured in car accident on Mumbai-Pune Express Highway
Bollywood veteran Shabana Azmi recently met with a road accident on Saturday afternoon on the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway. The actress is critically injured and has been taken to MGM hospital in Panvel.
As per the reports, Shabana’s car rammed into the truck from behind around 3:30 pm near Khalapur toll plaza. Even Javed Akhtar was also present in the car, however, there are no reports on his injury yet and is said to be safe, as per Raigad police.
Lately, the actress celebrated her husband and legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar’s 75th birthday in Mumbai. They had a lavish celebration where all the celebs were seen adorning retro theme clothing. At the event Farhan Akhtar his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan, Ambanis among others were present.
