RBI Recruitment 2021: New vacancies released for Grade B posts; check important details

RBI Recruitment 2021: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invited application forms for the post of RBI Grade B on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms at rbi.gov.in.

A total of 322 vacancies has been released for Grade B- DR (General), DEPR, and DSIM.

Out of the total posts, 270 vacancies will be filled for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- General, 29 for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DEPR, and 23 for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DSIM.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the aforesaid posts can submit their application form on or before February 15, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria Required:
Educational Qualification:

• For General Posts – Aspirants should hold at least 60 percent marks in Bachelor's degree or equivalent can apply for the same.
• For DEPR and DSIM posts - Candidates who hold a master's degree or equivalent in economics or related subjects with 55 percent marks can apply for the post.

Age limit Required

The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 21 years while the maximum age limit for the post is 30 years as of January 1, 2021.

For candidates who hold MPhil and Ph.D., the upper age limit is 32 and 34 respectively.

Note: Age relaxation will be given as per government norms.

RBI Recruitment Grade B: Selection process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Phase I, Phase II exam and interview round.

For DR (General) Post-

• For Phase I online exam- March 6, 2021.
• For Phase 2 exam (Paper I, II, and III)- April 1, 2021.

For DEPR Post-

• For phase I exam- March 6, 2021.
• For Phase II exam (Paper I, II) - March 31, 2021.

For Officers in DSIM Post-

• For phase I exam- March 6, 2021.
• For Phase II (Paper II and III ) - March 31, 2021.
