India vs Sri Lanka: McCullum posts heartwarming message for MS Dhoni. Here's why

As Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni has already added feather to his cap by completing 100 stumping in 301 matches, former New Zealand international cricketer Brendon McCullum has praised Dhoni in his own way by posting a heartwarming message for him.

Dhoni, who is known for his good work behind the stumps, has once again had a good day on field against Sri Lanka in the fifth and final match at the R. Premdasa Stadium on 3rd August.

Dhoni achieved this feat in 44th over of Sri Lankan inning as he removed bails comfortably on the Yuzvendra Chahal's delivery.

Hell of an achievement MS Dhoni! 100 Stumpings is an insane number! Still wonder how you whip off those bails in a flash especially when you have such a lot many things going on in your head. I have kept wickets for my nation for 10 years. Ended up with a broken back that will keep troubling me for the rest of my life. And then there is this man who has kept wickets all his life in all the formats that he has played in. Plus of course, he has performed the duties of being the captain and the most important batsman of his side. #SuperHuman for sure! 🙌

McCullum conclude his message for Dhoni by calling him Superhuman.

With this 100th 'lightning speed stumping', the Ranchi boy goes past the previous record held by Kumar Sangakkara - 99 stumpings.

MSD with this 99th stumping has already joined Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara's record.

Most of Dhoni’s stumpings have come off the bowling of off-spinner Harbhajan Singh (19), followed by Ravindra Jadeja (15) and R Ashwin (14). The remaining are shared by 19 other bowlers.

Earlier on 24 August, Dhoni has joined the record for most ODI number of stumpings with 99 when he removed the bails of Gunathilaka's dismissal in the second one-day international match between India and Sri Lanka, at Pallekele International Cricket stadium.

Here is how Twitter celebrates his 100th stumping:
