After being trolled, Karan Johar's friend reveals why KJo partied with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor

It was on 8th July when for the first time since nepotism criticism Karan Johar made his public appearance at Neetu Kapoor’s birthday bash and Ever since then he has been receiving backlash from netizens on social. Well, this was all because just a day before partying with Kapoors, KJo’s close friend revealed that the filmmaker is going through emotional breakdown as people are mercilessly blaming him for launching star-kids.

Now, once again Karan’s friend has come out in his support a cleared the air as to why he attended Neetu’s birthday party after being so broken down. He said that is because of Ranbir and Alia Bhatt who coaxed him to attend his mother’s birthday.

As per his friend, for Karan, Ranbir and Alia are very precious and when they insisted him to join them for small get-together he initially rejected. However, Ranbir and Alia persuaded him dearly that he couldn’t say no to them. The friend also added that it was not supposed to be a party as Neetu is grieving over her husband Rishi Kapoor’s death and didn’t even want to celebrate her birthday. But her children Riddhima and Ranbir insisted him to which she agreed.

Meanwhile, Karan has been keeping a low profile ever since the backlash after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He has also turned off his comment section on both Twitter and Instagram.
