Maidaan: Ajay Devgn to work with this famous South actress in Amit Ravindernath Sharma film

Ajay Devgn is riding high on the success of his recently released film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior also starring Saif Ali Khan and Kajol. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore mark in just first week and is still roaring at the box-office. After giving a blockbuster performance Ajay is gearing up for his another film helmed by National Award winner director Amit Ravindernath Sharma.

Ajay’s another anticipated film Maidaan based on the true story of the golden years of Indian football is hitting the headlines. A news was doing rounds that popular and talented actress Keerthy Suresh has been opted out of the film after shooting a few shots. Well, it's true now the actress has been replaced by National Award-winning actress Priyamani.

As per Bollywood Hungama report, both makers and Keerthy felt that she looked young as she had lost a lot of weight since they signed for the film. In the film, she had to portray the role of mother but now after shedding kilos they had to replace her and might collaborate in the future.

Coming back to Priyamani, she was recently seen in Amazon Prime Videos show Family Man alongside Manoj Bajpayee. Apart from this, she will also be seen essaying the role of Sasikala in Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi.

Talking about the film it is being produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta. The film is slated to hit the theatres on 27th November 2020.
