LIC Recruitment 2020: Vacancies released for AE, AAO and other posts; apply at licindia.in
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released a new job opportunity for multiple posts on its official website at licindia.in. The recruitment drive will be filled for multiple positions like Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist, Assistant Engineers (A.E)- Civil/Electrical/Structural/MEP & Assistant Architect (AA).
LIC invited a total of 218 vacancies that will be filled till 15 March 2020. Out of the total vacancies, 168 vacancies are of Assistant Administrative officers and 50 vacancies are released for Assistant Engineer.
The application window for the post has already started from February 25, 2020. The last date to apply for the vacancies is 15 March.

LIC AAO & AE Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University.
- AE (Civil/Electrical): B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution.
- AE (MEP engineers): B. Tech. /B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University.
- AAO (Rajbhasha): Candidate should have a Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level.
- Assistant Architect: B. Arch. from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
- AE (Structural): M. Tech / M.E. (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University.
- AAO (Actuarial) - Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- AAO (IT): Candidate should have a Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized University/ Institution.
- AAO (Chartered Accountant) – Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
Selection Procedure for LIC Recruitment 2020:
Candidates will be selected for the posts of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Administrative Officers based on the three-tiered process and subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical examination.
