GATE 2023: Registration to begin from August 30; check timeline, important details here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will start the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 on August 30, 2022. Interested candidates can register for the exam through the official website of the institute. 

IIT, Kanpur will conduct the GATE 2023 exam on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2022. The exam centres have been announced and the GATE 2023 exam will be held in 219 cities across the country. The exam will also be held in these foreign cities - Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Dubai, Port Louis (Mauritius), Male (Maldives), Singapore (Singapore), and Thimphu (Bhutan). The last date for the submission of the application form is September 30, 2022.  

This year, the GATE 2023 exam will be organised by IIT Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, Kanpur, Madras, Kharagpur, Roorkee, and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.

GATE 2023: Here’s how to apply

• Go to the official website of IIT, Kanpur - gate.iitk.ac.in
• On the homepage, search and click on the link -“GATE 2023 Registration,” available on the homepage
• A new page will open, register on the portal 
• Once registered, log in to the portal and fill out the GATE 2023 application form
• Upload documents, pay the GATE 2023 application fee and submit the form
• Download the application form for the GATE 2023 exam and take a printout of it for future reference
