KHAMOSH! Shatrughan Sinha reacts on attending wedding in Pakistan

Bollywood’s veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was recently hitting the headlines for attending a wedding in Lahore, Pakistan and for this he was also heavily trolled. According to netizens Shatrughan shouldn't have gone to Pakistan as both the countries are dealing with political tensions.

However, with a single tweet Shatrughan khamoshed his haters, taking to his Twitter handle he explained as to why he went there and wrote, “The last item/ agenda of our Lahore/Pakistan trip was to attend the most publicised and talked about of our brother like family friend Mian Assad’s son, Ahmad’s marriage reception with Heena.”

He continued in another tweet and wrote, “best of the people of the glamour world, entrepreneurs, bureaucrats besides who’s who of Lahore/ Pakistan on the eve of our departure. Next morning to Delhi India, here are some of the shots of the event with us & our people. Mission accomplished, long live the couple.” Along with this he also shared a few photos from the wedding.

It was a pleasant surprise that we received an invite from H.E. the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, on the last day of our stay at Lahore. We were very touched by this gesture of the President of Pakistan and we reciprocated it. Though the meeting lasted for quite some time, it was purely social, personal and purely a courtesy call to give profound regards. We discussed so many things on social and cultural issues but no politics was discussed. Nothing political or official about it. My friends, and the media should realize that one shouldn't discuss the politics or policies of countries on foreign soil when one isn't authorized by the Govt.

Earlier, photos and videos of the actor were posted by a local photographer from Lahore and since then netizens started trolling him terribly. They didn't leave stones unturned to defame him however, actors tweet was like a tight slap on the face of the haters as he had a purpose to visit Lahore. Well, in the video we can see him looking dapper in a golden suit and his trademark scarf around his neck, also in black.
