UPPCL Recruitment 2019: Hiring begins for Assistant Engineers; check eligibility criteria

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, UPPCL has released a job notification for the post of Assistant Engineer. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post released at upenergy.in.

Under this recruitment drive, UPPCL aims to fill a total of 301 vacancies released for Engineering aspirants.

The last date to apply for the posts of UPPCL Assistant Engineer is October 14, 2019.

UPPCL released vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) under E&M cadre and Assistant Engineer (Trainee) under Civil cadre.

Total posts: 301 vacancies

• Electrical: 271 vacancies
• Civil Engineering: 3 vacancies
• Computer Science/Information Technology: 22 vacancies
• Electronics and Telecommunication: 5 vacancies

Educational Qualification & Age Limit

• For Assistant Engineer (Trainee) under E&M cadre: Candidates should hold a degree in electrical engineering or a mixed discipline degree combined with electrical engineering.
• For Assistant Engineer (T) of Civil cadre: Applicants should hold a degree in Civil Engineering from a University OR Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other Institution recognised by the State Government, or a degree or Diploma recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Government. Candidates for both the posts should be above 21 years of age and below 40 years as on January 1, 2019.

Application Fees

Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay Rs 1000/- as application fees. While SC/ST category aspirants will have to submit Rs 700/- and PH category should pay Rs 10/- as application fees.
