Karan Johar to Rajinikanth, Indian cine artists congratulate Amitabh Bachchan on receiving Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Bollywood overjoyed when they got to know that legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been announced as the recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar shared the news on social media.
Prakash Javadekar wrote on Twitter, "The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for #DadaSahabPhalke award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest congratulations to him.@narendramodi@SrBachchan."

As soon it was announced the Indian cine artists and celebrities started congratulating megastar for his new achievement. Bollywood producer Karan Johar even called Amitabh Bachchan a 'bonafide Rock Star'. He tweeted, "The most inspiring legend of Indian Cinema!!!! He is a bonafide rock star!!! I am honoured and proud to be in the Era of AMITABH BACHCHAN! The prestigious #DadaSahebPhalkeAward to @SrBachchan."
Amitabh Bachchan colleague and superstar Rajinikanth also tweeted, "Congratulations dear @SrBachchan Ji !!! You richly deserve this commendable honour !!!! #DadaSahebPhalkeAward"
