Malayalam actor Mohanlal's Pulimurugan is nearing its 6-month theatrical run at the
box office. The action film which released on November 7 last year saw Lalettan portraying the role of a hunter, Murugan. Directed by Vysakh and produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam, Pulimurugan also marked the Malayalam debut of Telugu actor Jagapati Babu.

Generally hit Malayalam movies complete 100 days at the box office but in the case of Pulimurugan, it went 75 days beyond 100.The film is still running in a few cinemas across the Kerala.

Pulimurugan has also won the best Malayalam film award at IIFA Utsavam 2017 held in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
