CUG Recruitment 2019: New vacancies released for Faculty posts; check eligibility criteria
Central University of Gujarat (CUG), Gandhinagar, has released a job opportunity for the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor on its official website. Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies before the closing of the application window.
As per the notification, the last date to apply for the above vacancies is August 8th, 2019. While the candidates will have to send the hardcopy of the online application before 23rd August 2019. Application form should be filled in the prescribed format.
To apply for the vacancies candidates should visit the official notification before submitting the application form for the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for the post otherwise their application forms will be rejected.

- Assistant Professor: 25 posts
- Associate Professor: 29 posts
- Professor: 18 posts
Eligibility criteria required:
- Assistant Professor: Candidates should hold a Master‘s degree with at least 55% marks in relevant subject from a recognized Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Associate Professor: Applicants should have a Ph.D. Degree in relevant disciplines. Also, he/she should hold at least 55% marks in Master's degree.
- Professor: He or she should be an eminent scholar and also hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline, and published work of high quality. Applicants should have a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at the equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions.
