Mass resignations hit Twitter after Elon Musk's 'Ultimatum'; checkout best memes

After new Twitter boss Elon Musk issued an ultimatum asking staff to commit to a “hardcore” work environment or accept a buyout, reports suggested that hundreds of employees put down their papers.

A lot of Twitter users had already been disappointed over the alterations brought about in the microblogging platform since the Tesla CEO's takeover. Now, the mass resignation has added to the concerns about the company's future.

The hashtag “RIPTwitter” started trending on Twitter where users put out hysterical memes and posts while underlining that the platform might soon cease operating.

For many people, Twitter seemed to be on the brink of collapse, taking into consideration the chaos it has witnessed in the last few weeks.

Some went ahead to say goodbye to the widely used micro-blogging platform.

 

One user suggested a structure to get Twitter back on track in case it stops working.

Some users highlighted how influencers would be impacted if Twitter shuts down.

 

Another user wished he could save the platform from a collapse.

 

“Twitter has changed a lot since I joined back in 2011. It was fun while it lasted,” a user reacted.

 

This user appeared to be bidding goodbye to the micro-blogging site.

 

 

 

Some of the users imagined the predicament of those who not long ago paid the monthly fee for Twitter Blue.

“People who paid for the verification last week watching how Twitter is going to die tonight,” a comment read.

 

Some users suggested Twitter users are likely to flock to other platforms if the platform fails to survive.
