Mohanlal celebrated his 57th birthday on Sunday. The Malayalam actor who made his acting debut in the 1980 with Manjil Virinja Pookkal has so far acted in over 330 films including films in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The actor also holds the maximum number of National film awards by any lead actor in India.

From his friend and legendary actor Mammootty, Dileep, to young actors Prithviraj, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Unni Mukundan, Mohanlal's timeline was flooded with birthday wishes . However, the wish that came as a pleasant surprise was from none other than former Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag.

The former Indian opening batsmen tweeted;
