Many are unaware that Oscar winning composer AR Rahman made his Malayalam debut with Mohanlal - Sangeeth Sivan's 1992 blockbuster Yodha, just after the release of his debut film Maniratnam's Roja. The songs of the Mohanlal starrer are still much in demand among the youth audience as well.

However, despite providing super hit songs, AR Rahman was missing from Malayalam cinema all these years.

And now, Malayalam fans of AR Rahman have a reason to rejoice as the music maestro is all set to make his Malayalam comeback after a long 25-year gap.

Reportedly, the makers of young superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran's upcoming film Aadujeevitham
have approached AR Rahman and he has already agreed to be a part of the project. The film will be a cinematic adaptation of Indian novelist Benyamin's autobiography 'Aadujeevitham'. The makers are planning to release Aadujeevitham in 3D and have already roped in cinematographer KU Mohanan of Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Don fame.

Aadujeevitham is likely to hit the screens in 2019.
