PM Modi turns 72 today, birthday wishes pour in from all corners

Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 72 today, September 17. To mark the occasion, the BJP has organised several events across the country.

Birthday wishes have poured in from all corners of the country for the Prime Minister. Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, wished the Indian PM a day ahead on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting.

“As per Russian tradition, we never offer congratulations in advance, so I cannot do that right now. But I would like you to know that we know about it and we wish you all the best," the Russian President said.

President Droupadi Murmu greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended his wishes to PM Modi on his birthday. "Wishing PM Narendra Modi a happy birthday," he tweeted.

Congress veteran leader Shashi Tharoor posted a photo with the Prime Minister and wished him good health.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also sent PM Modi birth greetings.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted his wishes for PM Modi.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also posted his wishes for PM Modi.

The BJP has planned several events across the country to mark the occasion. Party president JP Nadda will inaugurate an exhibition on the life and leadership of the Prime Minister at the party headquarters in the national capital.
