Watch: People, students at UP Madrasa listen to 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Students from Lucknow’s Irfania Madarsa, along with teachers and locals, listened to the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on April 30.

The 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was broadcast earlier today, during which the Prime Minister stated that the radio show gave him a solution to connect with the people and that it is also a spiritual journey for him.

He further said that the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio show is an expression of the feelings of crores of Indians and it has ensured that he is never cut-off from the people.

In the clip shared by news agency ANI, students along with their teachers and locals can be seen sitting in the Madarsa and listening to Prime Minister’s radio show.

The 100th episode of the radio show was broadcasted in several Madrasas and minority dominated localities in Uttar Pradesh.

“Since the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ would be quite special, we are making efforts to ensure that it is heard in at least 100 places, including madrasas, which would include prominent ones as well as various other places with substantial minority presence. We are in talks with madrasa owners and are hopeful of shortlisting the places soon,” the Hindustan Times quoted BJP minority wing chief Kunwar Basit Ali as saying.

This milestone episode was broadcast live from the United Nations headquarters in New York as well.

The monthly radio programme which is being hosted by PM Modi, was first aired in October 2014.
