Rohit Sardana death: Netizens left shocked after demise of TV journalist

Senior TV journalist Rohit Sardana died on Friday, days after testing positive for COVID-19. He passed away at 40.

Sardana had contracted the coronavirus on April 24. He had also shared his health update on his official Twitter account.

As per media reports, Rohit passed away this morning after suffering a heart attack.

As the news of Rohit Sardana’s death spread, social media users cannot believe his demise news and left everyone shocked.

Netizens are offering their condolences to Rohit Sardana’s untimely death.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh condoled his death.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala also left shocked. He wrote, “Deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the demise of Aaj Tak journalist Rohit Sardana. It`s simply unbelievable. Rohit had recovered from Covid-19 and was back at work. My heartfelt condolences to the family members and Aaj Tak group.”

Even while he suffering from coronavirus, Rohit Sardana sought help for COVID-19 patients on Twitter a day before he died. In his last tweet, the anchor asked his over 4 million followers to help find Remdesivir injections for a COVID patient.

Before joining Aaj Tak in 2017, Sardana had a very long and successful association with Zee Media. He had hosted a special debate show, ‘Taal Thok Ke’.

After leaving Zee News, Sardana was hosting the debate show, ‘Dangal’ on Aaj Tak.
