Republic Day 2018: Do you remember? These Chief Guests were invited in the last decade

The whole country is busy in the celebrations of India's 69th Republic Day today. The crowd, like every year, gathered at Rajpath, for the real celebration with the distinguished guests invited from ASEAN nation's head, PM Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind and the event began after the unfurling of the national flag.

During the parade, there were family members of martyrs who were also delighted to see the show. As soon as the Republic Day parade began at the Rajpath, all the people became enthralled and started enjoying the diversified culture and tradition of a country that was showcased this year in the presence of the 10 ASEAN nations, who were invited as special chief guests for the Republic Day parade.

Every year the parade has in-store something unique for the nation to witness. As many as 23 tableaux, including those representing various states, ministries, the All India Radio (AIR) among others, also rolled down the Rajpath. The ASEAN was founded in 1967 and comprises of 10 nations i.e. Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei.
