In today’s busy life when we have to rush in between meetings and household chores and try to strike a work-life balance, it is very difficult to eat a balanced, healthy diet. We even forget to hydrate ourselves by drinking water during working hours. Binge eating of junk and fried foods is also affecting our health. Due to all these, our skin looks dull.

With Diwali at doorstep, we have some last-minute beauty and skincare tips for you that can give you a youthful appearance.

If you are planning any face procedure such as fillers, Botox¸ lasers, Dermapen etc plan them at least a week in advance

Most popular and less than a week procedure are medi facials. During these facials, deep cleaning of the skin is done with machines. Fruit acids and peptides are used for the skin for an instant glow.

  • Moisturise your skin daily at night and keep it hydrated.
  • Remember to remove your make-up completely
  • Excessive scrubbing is dangerous so avoid it
  • Intake oral antioxidants
  • We know it's very tough but try to eat healthy during the festive season
  • Make-up brushes should be cleaned regularly

Pre- Festive Skincare:

  • Cleansing, moisturizing and toning: Follow this basic routine every day, clean your face twice or thrice a day. Those having oily or acne-prone skin can use an alcohol-free toner. Use non-comedogenic moisturizer once or twice a day as per skin type.
  • Sunscreen: A non-comedogenic gel-based sunscreen with blue-light and infrared protection is essential for those who work on computers or spend long periods in the sun.
  • Antioxidants: Antioxidants such as vitamin C and glutathione are beneficial to the skin. They can be taken orally or applied topically at least 1-2 months before the festival season.

Post-festive skin care:

  • After the festival, give your skin a rest and concentrate only on moisturising, and hydrating your body, also use sunscreen
  • Put your gadgets away from you and get adequate sleep and rest
  • In case of any redness or irritation on the skin consult with a dermatologist
